This article can be used by researchers, students, and practitioners when referring to or citing the STATCAL Statistical Application Program in academic writing, scientific reports, theses, dissertations, and journal articles.
STATCAL ONLINE is an innovation of STATCAL designed as a web-based statistical computing platform. The latest version is developed through two online application approaches: Python-Streamlit and R-Shinylive. These technologies enable users to access statistical tools directly through a web browser without requiring complex statistical software installation.
Python-Streamlit is used to build interactive statistical web applications with flexible data processing, visualization, and analytical features. In addition, R-Shinylive enables Shiny applications to run directly in the browser, supporting the development of online statistical tools based on the R ecosystem. More information about Shinylive is available on the CRAN page: shinylive: Run 'shiny' Applications in the Browser .
Through STATCAL ONLINE, users can perform data visualization, web page scraping, map generation, descriptive statistical analysis, categorical data analysis, regression analysis, panel data analysis, and other statistical procedures. The platform is developed to support academic, research, and professional activities by providing interactive analytical tools and publication-ready outputs.
